How Ember & Moss was born.
In a moment of reflection between two friends, Tarah and Heather, found themselves at a crossroads in their lives. They spent countless evenings deep in conversation, exploring their dreams and desires. As they reflected on their current careers, it became increasingly clear that neither was truly fulfilled. The weight of unfulfilled aspirations loomed heavily over them as they pondered their futures.
One evening, as they sat, the question arose: "What would truly make you happy?" Their eyes lit up as they shared their passions—design, aesthetics, and the beauty of creating inviting spaces. In that moment of vulnerability and honesty, a spark ignited between them.
Both realized that their shared love for creativity could be the answer to their longing for fulfillment. Tarah, with her background in interior design, brought a wealth of knowledge and skill to the table. Heather, with her innate eye for style and an instinctive understanding of what makes a space feel alive, completed the perfect duo.
With their hearts racing with excitement, they envisioned a new journey together: home staging. They dreamed of transforming homes into beautiful, welcoming spaces that potential buyers would fall in love with.

Fueled by a passion for design and a drive for entrepreneurship, Heather co-founded her staging company with the goal of turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary, market-ready homes. Her expertise in buyer psychology, visual storytelling, and current trends allows her to craft spaces that not only photograph beautifully but also resonate emotionally with prospective buyers.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me soaking up time with my family—my husband, our kids, and our lovable pup—often by the pool or exploring the latest design trends.
